Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Lisa is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with One Ocean Hub. She is an art historian and curator whose current research explores the relationship between culture and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with focus on Africa and the Pacific. Lisa’s research also encompasses visual, material and intangible heritage; the anthropology of art; postcolonial studies; and participatory research methods. She has held curatorial positions in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand; academic posts in the United Kingdom and Aotearoa New Zealand; and development roles in Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea.
